AirAsia would wish to announce that Asia Aviation Capital Pte Ltd (“AACPL”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asia Aviation Capital Ltd, has on 2nd August 2017 incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary company in the Republic of Ireland known as Asia Aviation Capital (Ireland) Limited (“the Subsidiary”). 

The issued share capital of the Subsidiary is EUR100. The objective of establishing the Subsidiary is to have a leasing platform and marketing presence in Europe. The Subsidiary is not expected to have any immediate effect on the issued and paid-up share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholding in AirAsia. 

The establishment of the Subsidiary is also not subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company and any other regulatory authorities in Malaysia.
