AirAsia realises the flying dreams of Orang Asli students

Back Nov 08, 2017

AirAsia today granted four young students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Satak their dreams of flying for the first time as they set off on a memorable trip to Langkawi via AirAsia Berhad flight.

The initiative is part of AirAsia's efforts to empower young talents around the country by providing an opportunity to experience a glimpse into the aviation industry with the airline. Hailing from Raub, Pahang, an additional of 37 students from the Orang Asli community of the school was welcomed for a tour at the CAE training centre where they were able to observe emergency evacuation procedures for aircraft, safety training cabin crew, aircraft simulators, and more.

The entourage also had a chance to visit AirAsia's headquarters, RedQ, at Sepang alongside an interactive learning experience at Kidzania in Mutiara Damansara and a stay at Tune Hotels.

This marked the second time the airline has hosted the students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Satak and has collectively engaged over 5,000 students over the years from across Malaysia to learn more about the industry with the AirAsia experience.
