AirAsia WPUA Fun Run hits Kuching for the first time

More than 1,300 civil servants took part in the 5-kilometre run

AirAsia, the world's best low cost airline today organised the AirAsia Waran Perjalanan Udara Awam (WPUA) Fun Run for the first time in Kuching, Sarawak. Held at Sarawak Stadium, the run aimed to further promote WPUA product benefits to the state government and strengthen relationship between government agencies and AirAsia.

The Fun Run was flagged off by YBhg. Datu Ik Pahon Anak Joyik, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Sarawak; alongside Brenda Marajan, Deputy Director of Sarawak Accountant General; Mohd Fauzi Rajab, Head of Government Business Development & Charter, AirAsia Berhad; and Zamani Rafique, Director of Government Relations, AirAsia Berhad.

More than 1,300 civil servants including Federal Government agencies, State Government agencies, Statutory Bodies agencies and others participated in the 5-kilometre run. The participants also walked away with special AirAsia lucky draw prizes; including flight tickets, exclusive merchandises and AirAsia BIG Points.
