| Contents | The Board of Directors of AirAsia is pleased to announce that the Company has extended the duration of its existing ESOS which is expiring on 6 June 2009 for five (5) years to 6 June 2014. This is in accordance with the terms of the ESOS By-Laws. The ESOS extension is not subject to any regulatory or shareholders approval. The appropriate notices will be served on each of the ESOS grantees in due course. The ESOS extension will give the eligible employees of the Company and of the Group additional time to exercise their options and to participate in the performance of the Company. This announcement is dated 28 May 2009. |
